Paver EZ Installation Guide
Plan your area:
Use graph paper to make a scaled drawing of the patio, pathway or driveway. Your paver project needs to slope away from your house and other structures. The area must have appropriate drainage for a safe, durable and long lasting life. The minimum recommended slope is 1/8" per linear foot, however, 1/4" slope is often recommended to better facilitate drainage.
Verify the location of all underground utilities such as water lines, natural gas lines, electrical, phone, cable, sprinkler lines, etc. Your drawing should indicate the location of all utilities.
Choose the paver type, color and laying pattern. If possible, vary the dimensions or layout to use as many edge pavers as possible to reduce the amount of cutting.
For assistance with calculating the square footage, move on to Step 2.
