Measure your area:

If the shape of your project is basic and easy to measure we suggest adding 5%, but if your design is an irregular shape or has many curves we suggest adding 10% to your square footage as you will be making more cuts to get the correct fit.

If using a Soldier Course, multiply the lineal feet of the area by 12" then divide this amount by the width of the paver you chose, this number is how many pavers you will use.

Take this number and divide by the number of pavers per square foot, (Western Turf and Hardscapes can supply this information for you). This will give you the square footage of your Soldier Course.

Minus the square feet of the Solider Course from the total square footage of the area to be paved.

Use the calculations of the laying pattern you chose to find the square feet of each type of paver needed for your pattern.
